Equidistant Letter Sequences - Rabbeynu Bachayah a fourteenth century rabbi described a pattern of letters encoded in the Torah (Hebrew Bible, the Old Testament). This later found by Rabbi Michael Dov Weissmandl at the turn of the nineteenth century. The rabbi found that he could locate certain words or phrases by finding the first letter of a word then counting forward so many letters until he found the second letter, then counting forward the same amount of letters and getting the third letter and so on, he called this phenomena "Equidistant Letter Sequences". He also found that associated word pairs could also be found this way. This was somewhat of a novelty until computers came into factor.

With the aid of computers scholars in Israel found a large amount of additional hidden codes and published their findings in 1994 in the Statistical Science journal. Many scientists around the world have confirmed the findings, including professor Harold Gans senior researcher of foreign government intelligence codes for the US Army with his own computer program. Programs created to search out these codes are available as downloads off the internet. The results has phenomenal, over 300 associated word pairs have been found Genesis alone, the odds of this happening by chance is one in fifty quadrillion. Attempts have been tried to duplicate this in other literature, so far none has been found. This has only been found to exist in Bible, and confined to text written in the original language.

Truly amazing findings have been made by searching out names, places, events, phrases, etc. For example Hitler, Nazis, Berlin, King of Nazis, Eichmann, a people cry murder, slaughter, Auschwitz, and Belsen have all been found overlapping within a scripture passage in Deut. The next example is especially astonishing to me; I was in Egypt the week of Anwar Sadat's assassination in 1981. Anwar Sadat, along with the Moslem Brotherhood assassination team, and president, parade, gunfire, shot, murder and 1981 all were found encoded within the same passage. It was during a review of a military parade that President Sadat was assassinated. Another example; Saddam, Scud B, Russian, the missile will terrify, the 3rd of Shevat, America, in Iraq, in Saudi Arabia, Schwarzkophf, George Bush, CNN, Peter Arnet all found in groupings.

One more example among many that I could tell about is that Torah is spelled out in exactly 50 letter intervals in all of the first 5 books of the Old Testament.

Scientists with the aid of supercomputers haven't been able to recreate any of codes in an intelligible manner, and have concluded that man can’t do it. What's that leave?

So, what's this got to do with the Christmas, number one the scriptures couldn't have been written by man alone. Number two the Hebrew for Jesus has been found encoded starting with Gen. 1:1 all though the Old Testament, with a large number of the encoding happening within prophecies of the coming Messiah. All of this helps to make the all of scripture trustworthy.
